Habitat / Marseille

In a poetic and subversive way Habitat stages naked bodies inhabiting the space and creating individual and collective rituals - an ode to the body, dance and nudity.
After two years of social distancing and stand-offs, bodies must revive and reconnect to inhabit the world together.
To seal this reunion, RedPlexus invites the extraordinary artistic creation Habitat by the Austrian choreographer Doris Uhlich: 75 performers* from Marseille, aged from 19 to 70, have participated in a master class for five intense days and put themselves on stage with naked bodies to inhabit the space and create individual and collective rituals, accompanied by the sound of DJ Kopeinig.
Habitat is presented as part of Perform Europe in collaboration with MAYKTheatre (Bristol, UK), Rosendal International Theatre (Nordheim, Norway) and Something Great (Berlin, Germany).
